COUNCIL MEETING October 5, 2010
The Waelder City Council met for their regular monthly meeting on October 5, 2010 at Waelder City Hall. Those present were Mike Harris, Robert Tovar and Becky Ayala. (Absent: Annie Jackson and Mayor Roy Tovar) Mayor Pro-Tem Dora Ramirez did preside.
The meeting was called to order and a quorum was established.
A motion was made by Mike Harris to approve the minutes with a second by Becky Ayala. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
A motion was made by Mike Harris to approve the payment of the bills with a second by Robert Tovar. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
A motion was made by Mike Harris to approve the financial reports with a second by Becky Ayala. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
Open Forum: None
A motion was made by Mike Harris to approve the cost of $1100.00 (Steve Castro Const.) for the Roof Repair of the Electric Dept. with a second by Robert Tovar. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
A motion was made by Mike Harris to advertise the 1st Lineman Position with a second by Becky Ayala. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
The Council convened to Executive Session at 7:10 p.m. according to Texas Government Code 551.074; Overall Departments: Employee related issues: Driver Licenses

The Council reconvened to open session at 7:18 p.m.
A motion was made by Mike Harris extend the deadline on Driver Licenses till January 1st for everyone with a second by Becky Ayala. The vote was unanimous and the motion was passed.
